In the month of September, the VIX saw the lowest monthly close... ever.
Of course it helps that the actual volatility in the market is low as well, but if you're an option seller you've got to start asking yourself... is the juice worth the squeeze?
Because at some point the risk/reward gets skewed to the point where selling options is no longer a layup.
